Readiness advisory—not incident response
Principal Continuity Advisors describes independent management consulting focused on continuity, operational resilience, key-person risk, documentation, decision authority, and exercises. We are not, through this Site, acting as an emergency responder, incident-response firm, managed-security provider, penetration tester, forensic investigator, law firm, accounting or audit firm, registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, insurer, security company, trust company, or fiduciary.
No technical or professional certification
We do not provide a cybersecurity audit, penetration test, legal opinion, tax advice, financial-statement assurance, insurance coverage determination, safety certification, or regulatory certification through the Site. References to these areas identify coordination needs. Appropriate licensed or specialist advisers must evaluate them.
Plans cannot eliminate risk
A readiness review, continuity plan, contact tree, delegation matrix, playbook, tabletop exercise, or provider map cannot prevent every error, attack, outage, incapacity, dispute, loss, delay, or emergency. Effectiveness depends on accurate inputs, legal authority, resources, training, maintenance, provider performance, infrastructure, and real-time facts.
Exercises and scenarios
Scenarios and exercises are illustrative, controlled learning activities—not predictions, live incident directions, or guarantees. They may expose gaps and should be planned to avoid unsafe operational, legal, privacy, or security consequences. Actual events require authorized decision-makers and appropriate responders.
Third parties and insurance
Provider or insurance references are not endorsements, warranties, or coverage opinions. Diligence, contracting, supervision, notification duties, and performance remain with the client unless a signed agreement expressly allocates a task. Coverage depends on actual policy language and insurer determinations.
Communications and confidentiality
An inquiry is not an engagement and is not automatically confidential or privileged. Do not send credentials, vulnerabilities, incident evidence, financial or identity data, travel plans, access instructions, network diagrams, or security procedures until conflicts, terms, authorization, and a secure channel are established.
Geographic and legal limits
Services are available only where lawful and appropriate. Privacy, cybersecurity, breach-notification, licensing, fiduciary, professional-services, and consumer rules vary. We may decline or limit a matter and may require local counsel or specialist support.
